Currently out of print in the US, the CD of this classic film score will set you back some green. This is a Japanese reissue of the original French soundtrack released on vinyl in '68 (not the later one overdubbed with French-accented English).We admit it. It's outragously pricey. Still, how can you put a dollar amount on the sounds of true romance?

Yeah. You can get the film on DVD for a fraction of the price. But then you'll have to sit through the film, which, frankly is a pretty-to-look-at snoozer. (Sorry to any of you French film fanatics... but, really.) Better to just save your pennies so you can buy the CD and create your own romance.
