Unfortunatly the "Great Motion Picture Themes" vinyl we have pictured has not been issued on CD. Of course, most of the cuts are available elsewhere, but there was some magic in having them all in one place.

Never mind. There was only one cut on it by one of the great '60s guitar masters, Al Caiola, anyhow. Caiola is certainly not as well known as others in the genre...but you'll instantly recognize his sound when you hear it. Perhaps not as blatently hip as The Ventures...a little bit more easy listening, perhaps, but certainly evocative of the era.

Yes, there are other Caiola CDs available, but this has some of the best-known cuts he did, including not only "Mag 7", but also the TV themes from "Bonanza", "Gunsmoke" and much much more :
